The system is designed as a complete turnkey solution for infrared imaging. It consists of the following components:
- One or more industrial infrared cameras with non-cooled microbolometer detector FLIR A320
- Option for pan tilt movers
- Central Control Unit with industrial embedded computer, digital I/Os, power supplies
- Software IRControl for infrared image processing including temperature trend analysis
The infrared camera measures the temperature distribution on the object surface and sends the temperature images to the embedded computer in the central control unit. The temperature data is evaluated by the software based on user defined workspaces. The workspace stores all settings and parameters for performing fully automated measurements (e.g. areas of interest, temperature evaluation functions, preprocessing functions, settings for automatic storage of images and image sequences, temperature thresholds for triggering predefined actions).
